Margaret Mayfield

Margaret Mayfield, 83, of 149 E. South St. Jackson, died Tuesday in Columbus. She was a member of the Jackson First Presbyterian Church where he funeral will be at 2 pm Thursday. The Rev. Robert Gray will officiate and burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of the Mayhew Funeral Home, Jackson. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. A native of Jackson, she was born April 8, 1896, to Charles D. and Elizabeth Armstrong Jones. Her husband, Ralph E. Mayfield, died in 1946. Surviving are two sns, Bob Mayfield, Wadsworth, and Ralph E. Mayfield J., San Francsco; and two sisters, Blanche Jones, San Diego, and Jean Russell, San Francisco.
