Death Claims Jeptha Massie Friday Morn

He died at his home near Waterloo at the age of 67 years from a lingering illness of tuberculosis. He has been blind for 31 years. He never married and is survived by two brothers: John, of near Waterloo, and George, of Osborne, Ohio. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Flay Springs Methodist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Guy McDaniel and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Williams of Oak Hill attended the last rites. The deceased was a cousin to Mr. McDaniel and Mrs. Williams.
