Viola Beatrice Long

Rites Held for Mrs Viola Long

Mrs Viola Beatrice Long died Monday evening at her home on south Vermont avenue after an illness of several months. She was 94 years old and had spent most of her life in Wellston. She was born near Wilksville March 31, 1873, a daughter of John and Lydia Zinn Reed. Her husband, Charles Long, preceded her in death in May 1949. One brother and one sister are deceased. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs Grace DeVol and one granddaughter, Mrs Louene Lewis of St Albans, W. VA. There are four great-grandchildren. Funerals services will be held today at the Strong and Son Chapel in Wilkesville. Rev A B Maloy will officiate and burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetary in Wellston.
