Beatrice A. Leffler


Beatrice A. Leffler, 80, of Main Street, Omega, died 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Medical Center Hospital, Chillicothe. She was a homemaker and charter member of the Omega Church of Christ in Christian Union, Omega, Ohio. Born Dec 7 1913, in Omega, she was the daughter of Elijah Alfred Maloy and Cora Ellen Hatfield. On July 22, 1933, she married William C. "Grump" Leffler [sic: Willard], who preceded her in death on June 28, 1975. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Joe, Ray and Herbert Maloy; and two sisters, Rosabelle Maloy and Marjorie Bauer. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Gordon L. and Lucy Leffler, Billy L. and Judy Leffler and Rev. Marvin W. and Gail Leffler, all of Waverly; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mrs. Walter (Mary Ellen) Anderson of Waverly, Mrs. Virgil (Wilma) Uhrig of Chillicothe, and Mrs. Michael (Barbara) Kershner of Independence, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul Maloy of Waverly; four sisters, Alice Breitenbach and Irene Evans, both of Waverly, Mrs. Walter (Fleita) Snyder of Omega, Ohio, Viola Juergens of Springfield, Ohio; brother-in-law, Wilby Bauer of Omega, Ohio; sister-in-law, Ruby Maloy of Columbus. Funeral services were to be held 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Omega Church of Christ in Christian Union with the Rev. Marion Conkel, Rev. Walter Snyder and James Harper officiating. Burial was to follow in Omega Cemetery. Arrangments were under the direction of the Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly.
