Pat Kight

Pat Kight, 82, of Springfield, died unexpectedly at 3:35 a.m. Friday, December 2, 1988, in Community Hospital. He was born in Jackson, Ohio, September 27, 1906, the son of John and Bertha (Martin) Kight. He was a member of the Church of God in Richmondale, Ohio. He was a 27 year employee of Crowell-Collier Company and a retired employee of the Philadelphia Enquirer. He is survived by his wife, Nora (Hutton) Kight, whom he married June 23, 1928; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Delores) Rogers of Springfield, Mrs. Thomas (Patty) Rentz of Centerville, Ohio, and Mrs. John (Elaine) Longshaw of Vincentown, New Jersey; two brothers, John Kight of Detroit, Michigan, and Damon Kight of Springfield; one sister, Ruth Hammond of Chillicothe; six grandchildren, Vickie Gordon, Mark Rogers, David Rogers, Pat Beekman, Michele Beekman, Jon Longshaw; two great-grandchildren, Christopher Beekman and Kristen Gordon; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
