Gladys L. Kempton

Gladys L. Kempton, 96, formerly of Nelsonville and Logan Health Care, died Monday, March 3 at the Bristol House in Springfield. Born Sept. 19, 1900, at Wellston, daughter of the late Adam Deal and Julia Gillotte Deal Herbst, she was the widow of Herman A. Kempton, who died in 1969. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Nelsonville Wesleyan Church. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens. Friends may call 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Souers Funeral Home, Nelsonville.
