Edna Kriebel


Mrs. Kriebel Dies Monday at Holzer.

Mrs. Edna Kriebel, 61, passed away at Holzer hospital Monday evening, July 13, at 11:15 o'clock. She had been seriously ill for several weeks. Her residence was at 10 North New Jersey Avenue. She was the daughter of Oscar and Frances Huston Phillips, born on August 4, 1899 in Milton Township. She married Orey Kriebel 47 years ago in Jackson, on March 31, 1917. He survives as does two daughters. Mrs. George Lackey of Wellston and Mrs. William D. Parker of Columbus. She also leaves three sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Ebon Merril of Wellston, Mrs. Orville Kriebel of Akron, Mrs. Ruth Roof of Chauncey, Herschel Phillips of Hamden and Hoy Phillips of Rt. 1 Hamden. Three grandchildren also survive: Jimmy, Karen and Mike Lackey. Preceding her in death were her parents and a son who died in infancy. Mrs. Kriebel was a faithful member of the Mt. Carmel EUB church and the Milton Grange. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Gaskill Chapel with Elder James Cummings officating. Burial will be made in Ridgewood Cemetery.
