Paul Grafton


Paul Grafton, 63, of 32 First St. in Athens, died Friday evening at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital. He was born in Glenroy, Ohio, a son of the late Bert and Nellie Hutchinson Grafton. He was a retired employee of the Athens Post Office, where he was a letter carrier, clerk and supervisor of the mails. He attended the First United Methodist Church. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Phyllis) Moore and Miss Cindy Grafton, both of Athens, Mrs. William (Wanda) Hollen of Lorain and Mrs. Charles (Linda) Bowles of Athens, Route 5; one son, Donald, of Athens; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Forrest, who died in 1973. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 3 p.m. at Jagers and Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Clyde C. Pennell officiating. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday today.
