James E. Fraizer


James E. Fraizer, 51, McArthur, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 1998, at Arthur James Cancer Hospital, Columbus. Born Nov. 23, 1946, Columbus, son of Nellie L. Cecil Fraizer of Logan and the late Lloyd J. Fraizer, he was married for 29 years to Sharon L. Dicken Fraizer, who survives. A 1964 Logan High School graduate, he was a resident of McArthur for 18 years. He served in the Army Reserve-National Guard and was a former member of Jaycees, Logan Lions Club, Vinton County Lions Club, Jackson Kiwanis Club, Vinton County Band Boosters and McArthur-Swan PTO and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He worked 30 years for Kroger Company including 20 years in management in Logan, Lancaster, Jackson, McArthur, Circleville, Chillicothe and Stubenville. He worked four and a half years at Ohio Valley Super Markets and was a manager at Burr Oak Foodland in Trimble. Most recently he was assistant manager at Wellston Foodland. Also surviving are two daughters, John P. (Karin M.) Moughler of Perrysburg and Jamie N. Fraizer of McArthur; a brother, Thomas L. (Kathy) Fraizer of Belfountaine; two sisters, Jean Lantz of Rockbridge and Mrs. Harry (Susan) Robison of Logan; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Lawrence Myers officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Combined Veteran Organizations of Hocking County. Friends may call anytime Tuesday with the family in attendance from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9.
