Carole Elliott

Carole Elliott, 62, Jackson, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 1997, as the result of an automobile accident in Jackson. Born June 24, 1935, at Jackson, daughter of the late Samuel and Grace Dobbins Davis, she was married to the Rev. David C. Elliott, who survives. A member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Jackson, she was a retired LPN, having worked for several Heartland Care Centers in the area, including Jackson and Chillicothe. Also surviving are five sons, Dirk (Tricia) Elliott of Bellpoint, Scott Elliott of Jackson, Tom (Lisa) Elliott of Jackson, Nick (Rhonda) Elliott of Jackson and Matt (Denise) Elliott of Romania; one daughter, Mrs. Dave (Jenny) Paugh of Jackson; two sisters, Connie Evans of San Antonio, Texas, and Sheila Davis of Jackson; and nine grandchildren, Josh, Sam, Amy, Alicia, Cody, Kylie, Daniel, Jordan and Abigael. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Elliott. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home, Jackson, with the Rev. Bill Goodall officiating. Burial will be in New Zion Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 today at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Matt and Denise Elliott Romania Missionary Fund, c/o Bellpoint United Methodist Church, 5517 US 42 South, Ostrander, Ohio 43061.
