Regina R. Denney

Regina R. Denney, 66, of Wellston Route 3, died unexpectedly at Oak Hill Hospital Friday as the result of an apparent heart attack. Born in Wellston, she was the daughter of the late Lucius and Mayme Tucker Phillips. She was a housewife. She is survived by her husband Melvin (Bill); three sons, Billy D. of Sunnymeed Calif., Richard R. of Gallion, and Paul Douglas of Sarasota, Fla..; a daughter Aleeta J. Potts of Sarasota; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen T. Hauck of Sarasota; two half-sisters, Audrey R. Davis of Wellston and Erma L. Madrid of Tucson, Ariz; and two half-brothers, Dale Phillips of Hamden and Billy Phillips of Wellston. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and three half-brothers. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at J.P. Rogers Funeral Home with Pastor James Allison officiating. Burial was in Ridgewood Cemetery, Wellston.
