Paul Omar Davis

Paul Omar Davis, 68, of 311 East 12th Street, Wellston, died Friday, Feb 12, 1988 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Chillicothe, after an illness of several months. Born in Glenroy, Ohio, he was the son of the late John and Lena Smith Davis. Mr. Davis was a former employee of the Frick-Gallagher Manufacturing Plant in Wellston. He was a service repairman for Ray's Appliance Store in Wellston. He attended the Wills Chapel Church in Wellston. He was an Army veteran in the Medical Corps during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Phillips Davis; two sons, David Davis, of Dayton; Gary Davis, of Wellston; and two daughters, Jayne Walsh and Judy Snyder, both of Wellston; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Ed Davis of Wellston. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild, a brother and a sister. Services were held Tuesday, Feb, 16th, at the J.P. Rogers Funeral Home with the Rev. A.B. Maloy officiating. Burial followed in Ridgewood Cemetery, where military graveside services were conducted by the Disabled American Veterans.
