Everett Dye


Everett Dye, former resident of Wellston, passed away Saturday morning at 8 o'clock in Decatur, Indiana, where he had lived the past sixteen years, and was an employee of a feed mill there. He was born in Wellston, 29 May 1908, a son of Henry and Effie Oiler Dye. In addition to his parents, who live at Wellston Route 3, he is survived by his wife and six children, three of them by a former marriage; five brothers, Clifford, Homer, Edward, all of Wellston Route 3, Alfred of Wellston Route 2, and John of Newport News, Virginia; three sisters, Mrs Edward Watts of Gallipolis, Mrs Marie Lambert of Decatur, Indiana, and Mrs Ceola Hollinghead of Fairborn; and one brother is deceased. Funeral services will be held at the Simons Funeral Chapel Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock with Rev L.O. Rist officating. Burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Simon Chapel after 7 o'clock Tuesday evening. [NB: Buried 05 Oct 1960]
