Jesse Coyle


Mrs. Jessie Coyle, age 85, died Sunday morning at her home at Wells Manor Apartments, after six months of failing health. Born in Wellston August 21, 1894, she was a lifetime resident and a member of the First Baptist Church. Daughter of the late William and Christine Hayburn Collins, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Coyle, in 1975, a daughter, Marjorie Walton, three brothers and one sister. She is survived by one son, Bill of Westerville, six daughters, Mrs. Esther Emmett of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Mary Cheatwood and Mrs. Irene Thompson, both of Wellston, Mrs. James Smith of Monroe North Carolina, Mrs. Wilma Dixon of Jackson and Mrs. Martha Bussman of Grove City. One brother, Raymond Collins of Wellston, two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Evans of Cincinnati and Mrs. Ruth Pierce of Mingo Junction, 29 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren also survive. The funeral was held on Wednesday, April 2 in the Jenkins Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Allison officiating. Burial was in Ridgewood Cemetery.
