CHILD DIES HERE WEDNESDAY NIGHT

James Foster Collins, 3, Succumbs Wednesday After Long Illness

James Foster Collins, 3, only son of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Collins, died at 8 p. m. Wednesday at the home, corner of Ninth street and Rhode Island avenue. Death was due to gastro-enteritis with which the child had suffered for several months. He had been bedfast the past four weeks. James Foster was born December 15, 1929, and was the youngest in the family. Besides his parents, six sisters survive, Marcena, Ruth, Kathryn, Robin, Virginia and Betty. Funeral services, which are in charge of Gaskill and King, will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the home, with Rev. Parr officiating. Burial will be at Ridgewood. Mrs. William Tolbert, son Homer, Mrs. Margaret Hickman and Mrs. Nora Walton of Porstmouth are in the home and will remain for the funeral. Mrs. Tolbert is an aunt of the deceased.
