Elizabeth Clark

Died, Mrs. Elizabeth Clark of Center Township. She was born in Jackson County, Ohio, January 9, 1812, and died August 14, 1897, aged 85 years, 7 months and 5 days. He maiden name was Hartley. She was united in marriage to William Clark, in Ohio. They were blessed with eight children, two of them and the husband died years ago in Ohio. The deceased united with the Methodist Church at the age of seventeen. The funeral service was held in the Palestine Baptist Church, Lord's Day p.m., August 15, after which the body was laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
