Scott Brown

Scott Brown, 80, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Sunday at the Casey Nursing Home Piketon after an extended illness. A resident of 185 Athens Street, Jackson, he was a lifetime resident of this area and was a retired furniture dealer. He was the son of the late William and Lavera Borders Brown. Surviving are his wife, Bernice, two stepdaughters, Mrs. Velma Swan, and Mrs. Ernadine Hentrhorn, both of Columbus, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Sperry Funeral Home with the Rev. Maurice Bailey officiating, followed by burial in Beaver Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sperry Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
