Ruth Brown

Ruth Brown, age 84, of North Wilkesboro, NC, passed away Saturday November 22, 2003, in North Wilkesboro. She was born in Jackson, Ohio on September 14, 1919 to the late Lucille and George Callahan and Tom Harless. She is survived by her husband Ralph Brown; daughter, Carol (Paul) Coyan of Jackson; sons, Allan (Emily) Spriggs of Springfield, and Eddie (Carol) Spriggs of Columbus; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by daughter, Doris Stevens; son, Donald Spriggs; grandson, Marlin Russell; and sisters, Mildred Hatten and Helen Lamson. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 30 at 2 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Chapel, 180 Sparta Road, North Wilkesboro, NC. with the Rev. John T. Vannoy III officiating.
