Paul E. Brohard


Paul E. Brohard, 74, of London, Ohio, died at 11:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2002 in The Arbors at London Nursing Home. Born Oct. 24, 1927 in Jackson County, he was a son of Joseph Maurice and Mary (Tennant) Brohard. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and had been employed with International Harvestor for 24 years, the last 12 as a manager of the former Farmer's Exchange in London; and worked as a service writer for Bob McDorman and Haydocy Pontiac before retiring in 1990. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Dorothy Brohard; daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and John Weeter, all of London; Marcia (Donnie) Farquhar of Ft. Myers, Fla.; Beth (Roger Griffin) Pennell and Jane and Bob Weeter, all of London; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Wilma (Vern) Wortman of Camarillo, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were set for 11 a.m. Thursday at Eberle Funeral Home, London, with Rev. Gerald Poff officiating and interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Coal Township, Jackson County. Calling hours were set for Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home with Masonic Services at 7:30 p.m. If they wish, friends may make memorial contributions to the Central Ohio Breathing Association, 1520 Old Henderson Road, Columbus, OH 43220.
