Marguerite L. Bellamy


Marguerite L. Bellamy, 84, of Circleville, passed away March 22, 2002, at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Jackson County, the daughter of Oscar and Bessie (King) Parks. She was a graduate of Jackson High School, atttended Rio Grande and Ohio Universities. After working several years in the family business, she and her husband, Raney, moved to Circleville where they farmed, worked as real estate brokers and developers until their retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Raney; sister, Martha Parks, and brother, Melvin Parks. She is survived by a son, Timothy (Laurie) of West Alexandria, Ohio; twin daughters, Deborah (David) Hill of Washington C. H. and Dorinda (John) Splint of Aurora, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Nicole Goldsmith, Shane, Shawn, and Timothy Bellamy, Evan Hill, Ryan Lutz, and Heather Gleason; 10 great-grandchildren, Nathan and Katelyn George, Rylea and Eli Lutz, Hannah and Samantha Goldsmith and Chase, Tanner and Mackenzie Bellamy; brothers, Raymond (Frances) Parks of Daytona Beach, Fla. and Norman (Jean) Parks of Washington C. H.; sisters, Mac (Kenneth) Hughes and Eula (Robert) Lambert of Washington C. H.; Marjorie (James) Hughes of Frankfort, Mary Parks of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Marilyn Volz of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in the Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Family reequests contributions to Hospice of Pickaway County.
