Irene Birch

Mrs. Irene Birch, 81, of 4210 Brookside Dr., New Boston, died Sunday, May 31, 1981, at Greenbriar Convalescent Center. A native of Huntington, W. VA, she was a retired Terminals YMCA cook and home companion, for the Apostolic Faith and a member of Wheelersburg Order of Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her husband, William H. Birch, in 1953, she is survived by two sons, William Clutters of Kenova, W. VA, and Lawrence Clutters of Las Vegas, Nevada, and a former resident of Jackson County Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Nelson (Frances) Williams, with whom she resided; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Services were held a 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 2 at Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home, with Rev. Earl Mays officiating. Interment was in Scioto Burial Park.
