Reuben A. Ashley, age 73, 1170 E. Hudson St.; Thursday afternoon, Riverside Hospital. Born March 1, 1898 in Glenroy, Ohio. Lived in Jackson, Ohio many years. Member of Oakland Park United Methodist Church, Senior Citizens. Retired from Jeffrey Manufacturing Co., after 35 years of service and lAM. Survived by wife, Cleo Ashley; daughters: Mrs. Virginia Dawson, Mrs. Winifred Werner, Mrs. Joann Rinehart; son, Richard Ashley, all of Columbus; sisters, Mrs. Della King, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Hazel Smellie, Denver. CO.; Mrs. Anne Nail, Jackson, Ohio; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and lifelong friend, Ruth Ann Daniel. Friends may call Long Funeral Home, 1173 E. Hudson St., 7-9 p.m. Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Service will be held 10 a.m. Monday; in Oakland Park United Methodist Church. Rev. Harold Bower officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery.
