Betty J. Angel

Betty J. Angel, 57, of 4534 St. Francis Lane, Columbus, formerly of Wellston, died Wednesday at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. Born in Wellston, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Estella Poland Collins. She was a member of East Columbus Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Carl; three sons, Carl Jr. of New Brunswick, Conn., James and Joseph, both of Columbus; three daughters, Patricia Shannon, Gay Churchhill, and Mary Angel all of Columbus; four sisters, Kathryn Partlow, Virginia Downard, and Robin Wiseman, all of Wellston, and Marcena Spratt of Toledo; a brother, Jerry (Satch) Collins of Wellston; and four grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister. Funeral services were held Saturday, at 10 a.m. at the J. P. Rogers Funeral Home, Rev. Carl Minter officiating. Burial was in Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbus Cancer Clinic, 550 Thomas Lane, Columbus, Ohio 43214.
