Alice Virginia Almay

Alice Virginia Almay, 81, of Dublin, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003, at Riverside Hospital. A retired Columbus Public School teacher after 34 years, member of Northwest Presbyterian Church and Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority, she was preceded in death by husband Emil Almay and brother John Finch. She is survived by sons, Richard Almay of Grand Rapids, MI. and Ted (Vicki) Almay of Dublin, Ohio; grandchildren, Kaylin and Claire; sisters, Ruth (Paul) Stinson and Anna Finch of Jackson, Ohio; sister-in-law, Doris Finch of Jackson; nieces, Rachel (Keith) Turner of Worthington, Patti (Jim) Reynolds of Jackson; nephews, Johnny (Wanda) Finch of Columbus and Joe (Crystal) Finch of Jackson. Funeral services were held Saturday, 9:30 a.m. at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of I270), where friend called on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. with the Rev. Dave Dorst officiating. Interment in Glen Rest Memorial Gardens.
