Jackson Man Heads Army Air Service
James E. Fechet, who becomes assistant chief of the U.S. Army Air Service, April 17th, is a former Jackson man. He is related to several prominent families at the county seat and is remembered many in the county. He succeeds Brigadier General "Billy" Mitchell, who talked himself into a demotion.
